Hyped honestly: a link carries a small badge — Affiliate, Sponsored, Partnership or Gifted — whenever money or a free item changed hands with whoever it points at. No badge means no such relationship, on Hype and everywhere else.

The practice

Agents do the typing. I do the deciding.

I run coding agents every day, across several engines at once, each in its own branch with its own written brief and the narrowest permissions that let it finish. I have no staff. I read the diffs, I set the standard, and I am the one who says a thing is done.

What makes it work is not the model. It is refusing to let the thing that built the code be the thing that grades it.

Brief

Written scope and acceptance criteria before a line is typed. A worker touches the files it was given and no others.

Gate

A different engine reviews the diff, adversarially, with no memory of building it. A FAIL is not shippable.

Proof

Screenshots, test counts and the reviewer’s verdict committed next to the code. “It works” is not evidence.

What it cost to learn

I ran the experiment at full scale. Most of it failed.

Across late 2025 and 2026 I built more than a hundred projects with agents — iOS, Android, web, desktop — and captured tens of thousands of agent sessions doing it. Then I audited the lot. Features that compiled and did not run. Test suites passing over code nothing imported.

None of that was the model being stupid. It was me accepting a claim without asking for the proof. Every rule I follow now exists because I watched an agent walk straight through the gap where it should have been — and that is what I have to teach that a demo video does not.

Vyke is for builders who have agents running right now and keep hitting the same walls — the confident wrong answer, the review that agrees with everything, the task that was never really finished. What gets published here is the working method and the evidence behind it, dated, including the parts that did not go well.

It is a room, not an audience. There is a person on the other end, not an agent wearing my name. The work stays public, corrections included.
